When Will Change Come?

Puerto Rico: 327 days after Hurricane Maria. I stand before this destroyed cancha, the hubs of all communities across the island, is public land… and thus, the responsibility of the government. Unsurprisingly, yet inexcusably, nothing has happened.

The sign placed out front read (translated from Spanish):

Mister Governor and Secretary of the Department of Transportation and Public Works,

These communities need you to pickup the debris and green waste in the areas under your jurisdiction.

People of Caguas, report it!

Will anything ever change? How? When? Puerto Rico and the American citizens of this island deserve better.
