Life is a journey. 👣 And after a day of unexpected twists and turns, I had the privilege of speaking to and dining with a group of bold, passionate, articulate University of Vermont students and staff in one of the more unfiltered, powerful, free-flowing conversations I’ve had in a long time. This is an activist campus and these are the precise proud, proactive leaders this school, these movements, the next generation, our communities, country and world need desperately. I was humbled to be able to engage in intimate dialogue, go deep into topics dear to my heart, answer difficult questions, address where we’ve been and where we’re going, ideate around how we make plans, elevate truth, build collectives, achieve success, sustain ourselves and continue to show up, no matter what! I left reinvigorated… and based on the depth of engagement, emotional connection and energetic highs, I think/hope/trust/feel that the students did too. This is but the beginning…
