And so begins one of the best meals of my life… at an exquisite chateau on an organic garden in the English countryside that grows 90 varietals of fruits and vegetables and 70 distinct herbs. The masterful cuisine at Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons has held its two Michelin stars for 30 years! To start… cherry tomatoes filled with pesto, compressed apple with prune ketchup, pickled Japanese cucumber with mint relish, and beet with beet gelée, each one better than the last.
Food is art. And this masterful Michelin chef is turning vegetables into the edible palette of my dreams. #almosttooprettytoeat
Spiced roasted cauliflower, romanesco, jasmin raisins, adzuki beans… Michelin star status!
A bounty of the freshest organic vegetables from this very garden, transformed into risotto heaven by a Michelin chef.
Chocolat: the grand finale. This truly was the meal of a lifetime: a vegan tasting menu with ingredients from the extensive organic garden and nearby artisan farms surrounding us here at a beyond spectacular two Michelin star restaurant in an English countryside chateau.
