Frozen in place, frozen in time, frozen in memory. I'm at Bryn Mawr College to speak to students about activism, organizing, the current political and social landscape and TOLERANCE... even more powerful and apropos on Yom Ha'Shoah. As survivors age, as anti-Semitism and widespread discrimination spike, as fact are warped, we recommit to honor memories of the past and visions of a better future that compel us to prevent another such tragedy today. We will ever stay faithful as we rise to combat hatred, bigotry and violence and champion peace, safety and understanding in the modern context of our fragile world. #NeverAgain
Girl power! 💁🏾🙋🏼🙆🏻 Speaking to an audience of all women is a unique and powerful experience. It was my truest of privileges and highest of honors to address the fierce females of Bryn Mawr College, plus this group of prospective high school students visiting campus. May we redefine possible and champion excellence for girls and women of all ages, of all backgrounds, of all faiths, of all political persuasions today and for generations yet to come. Here's to strong women: may we know them, may we be them, may we raise them. #thefutureisfemale
Thank you Bryn Mawr and Hillel International for hosting me, for uniting us, for valuing dialogue among diverse perspectives who prioritize, seek and find common ground.
