“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.” I believe fiercely in the power of people, knowing the critical role that individuals and collectives play now more than ever. It was a true honor (and incredibly timely gift) to address the new cohort of Watson scholars at Lynn University in Boca Raton today, amid a profoundly disturbing and deeply troubling social and political backdrop. I needed this dose of rejuvenating inspiration from fifteen of the most passionate, driven, committed, worldly, intuitive, savvy, brilliant social impact entrepreneurs I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting. This is our next generation, our hope, our future. And for that, I am grateful.
