Sharing The Light

We share the light. ✨ We believe in miracles. 🕎 We Jew — together, proudly, publicly, eternally. 🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯 And tonight, on the last night of Hanukkah, in the immediate aftermath of yet another horrific, violent, anti-Semitic attack against fellow Jews right here in America, with a heavy yet resolute heart, I did not want to be anywhere other than gathered shoulder to shoulder with my mother and Jews of all backgrounds to light a massive menorah, recite the age old baruchas and sing beloved Hebrew songs — as our ancestors have done against all odds in the face of great dangers and existential threats over time. We will not hide, silence ourselves or recoil in fear. We call upon government and law enforcement to better protect us. We pray for healing of victims, eternal light and strength of our people, of all peoples.
