To all of the mothers, fathers, grandparents, siblings, caregivers. To everyone with kids, babies, children, families now in the home 24/7. To anyone attempting to parent, teach, work and maintain a house simultaneously… I bow to you. We’re trying to make it through just us: two independent adults who can understand the situation, cook, clean, entertain and express ourselves. Even with a roof over our heads, two floors, two bathrooms, a kitchen that can accommodate us both side by side, full pantry, reliable utilities, digital connectivity and blessed outdoor space, it’s still a struggle every damn day. But as we #StayAtHome, momma and I are living, learning and finding a way to stay safe and as sane as one can be amid these unprecedented times. Ooof. How you doing?
