What gives me hope — amid the deluge of trying, troubling, tragic news? Kids! The next gen! Youth activists! I had the privilege to speak to (and learn from!) a phenomenal global group of eleven to eighteen-year-olds this weekend at the Ocean Heroes HQ bootcamp with Lonely Whale and Captain Planet Foundation — and was awestruck by just how aware, articulate and attuned these young minds are, fully recognizing the increasingly-dire need for concrete action and collaboratively ideating on innovative solutions for the most pressing social and environmental challenges facing our communities, countries and globe. We must educate, support, elevate, steward these student leaders and their peers: our present and future. 🗣🌍♻️🌊
