It's Time to Work for Puerto Rico

🇵🇷 "The island must have credible and trustworthy leadership to steer it forward. In light of a series of damaging corruption and ethics scandals that continue to unravel, Governor Ricardo Rosselló has compromised his ability to lead and should submit his resignation – now."

The message is clear all across Puerto Rico, in the diaspora and beyond: the Governor must resign. #RickyRenunciaYa!

Please feel free to add your umpteenth reason in the comments — because everyone has their own (or many), which further underscores the need for a leader with the people's mandate, respect and confidence. I am eager to read!

While I'm not currently on island to join the demonstrations, my heart is there and WhatsApp, social media and news feeds blanketed with coverage of what is happening in the streets. I will continue to amplify voices of citizen activists, echo growing worthy frustration, and honor that unmistakeable Boricua energy (like in this photo I snapped last week in San Juan).

Ya tu sabes, we have a LOT of work to do together for/in/with Puerto Rico. 🇵🇷
