“I’ve never left a speech so inspired, so motivated, so ready to do something to make a difference.” Wow. Thank you Emory University students! I’m humbled that my message, stories, work resonates. Knowing the impact of my words, whether expressed during Q+A, articulated after waiting patiently to speak with me after, or in a social media post or personal email after the fact, it reminds me of the power of action, conviction, passion and communication — and inspires me to keep going with and for us all, our common purpose, our shared future. And yes, heels are my secret weapon.
