#DineNDash for Puerto Rico

While 4,000 people raced about to #DineNDash at 30 restaurants in DC last night, I ate only one bite... but it was a damn good toston with avocado!

I'm beyond honored to be a part of the #ChefsForPuertoRico movement, and to have helped present the incredible work that our team has been doing in DC. A truly inspiring evening of eating, drinking, listening, learning and merriment - scroll on for more snippets from Dine-N-Dash!

I’ve never been more proud to work with a group of humans. I’ve never been more impressed by such capable, innovative collaborators. I’ve never been more in awe of the spirit, heart, commitment, intellect, skill and unity of a team. I respect you. I salute you. I thank you for being my familia and the leaders of our #ChefsForPuertoRico  movement — across our island, now in Washington DC, and to the world. De Puerto Rico para el mundo.

José is in Puerto Rico… thanks to the power of virtual reality. Chef José Andrés and I are proud to debut our #ChefsForPuertoRico’s story in 360° tonight at the Puerto Rico House at #DineNDash! Thank you to all who have put their blood, sweat and tears into making this wild vision to feed an island a reality. And to Adam and the brilliant Reality Garage team for translating our work and truths into a powerful, moving, activating VR piece.
