Don’t think that Hurricane Maria is a thing of the past. 🇵🇷 This is Punta Santiago, almost nine months after landfall. 40 foot waves flooded this small coastal town. 1,200 homes were destroyed. 20% of businesses have never reopened. Those that are open operate at 25% capacity. There was no power for almost 7 months, and over 5% remain without light still today. We continue to come here to Humacao with #ChefsForPuertoRico to serve those in need — with hot meals, dignity, heart.#puertoricoselevanta
