The annual Turning Green Conscious College Road Tour visits around 16 college and university campuses nationwide from late March through early May. The tour is a unique, interactive, hands-on opportunity for students to become informed about the benefits and accessibility of conscious living. This 6-week fly/drive adventure is designed to inform, inspire, and mobilize students to transition their lives and school campuses from conventional to conscious.
The Turning Green team and Campus Reps at each school engage thousands of students, faculty, and staff on college and universities nationwide to inspire, educate, and mobilize the masses to action.
WHAT HAPPENS ON EACH STOP?
– The Conscious Information Station focuses on key lifestyle categories: food, body, style, zero waste, clean, space and hemp. The interactive set-up features info boards, sampling, hands-on demos, activities, and in-depth conversations.
– The Town Hall Meeting is an evening dinner gathering for students, faculty, and school leaders to focus attention on the development of a student-led sustainability project. TG will collaborate from inception to fruition.
To offer tangible ways for students to live more consciously (education around safer and healthier practices and products), be the change (introduce advocacy campaigns and programs), and support specific, relevant, actionable sustainability projects with stakeholders on each campus.
